I am happy to announce that we have again secured some more fishing for our members for the 2025 season. The previously private stretch in front of Featherstone Castle is now available for our members to fish and of course Haltwhistle & District AA rules will apply. Featherstone Castle will have two house rods which will be able to fish all H&DAA waters. 

Please continue to give help and advice to visiting anglers, our club has a great reputation for being friendly and welcoming.

A big thanks to our club members who have worked on access to our beats during the winter. The lane which gives access to ‘The Cages’ has been cleared of fallen branches and work will continue on the surface of the lane which is still uneven but drivable with care. The bottom beat at Bardon Mill has also had a lot of branch cutting work done to improve access.
