At our AGM on Sunday 28th January 2024 our long standing club official Walter Eals (on the right of the photo) stood down as chairman. Walter has been a club official for 52 years and his knowledge of the fishing, our riparian owners and the local people has been invaluable to the club. Thankfully Walter will continue as a member of the committee where his skills and advice will always be of huge benefit to the club.

Ridley Clayburn (on the left of the photo) who is an experienced angler and existing committee member has kindly agreed to take on the role of chairman.
Walter was presented with the fine canvas print from a painting by John Trickett shown in the photograph as a token of appreciation for all his and his wife Carols hard work over the years.
